The founder's
story
The Amazon Apothecary was founded by Nicole Buffara, a food alchemist and forest storyteller, inspired by her Brazilian, German, and Lebanese roots. After witnessing the healing power of cacao, mushrooms, and ancestral medicines in her own family — including extending the life of her beloved dog through medicinal fungi — Nicole dedicated her path to weaving together tradition and science for collective healing.
